L’eleganza nascosta (del riccio): wabi.
Esiste una parola giapponese, wabi, che esprime un’idea di bellezza sotto forma di understatement:
“forma nascosta del bello, qualità di raffinatezza mascherata di rusticità”.
E’ il canone estetico di questo gruppo di prodotti che evocano atmosfere neoindustriali ricercate,
apparentemente spartane, in realtà sofisticate.
Lavabi con smalti ceramici di antica memoria, piatti doccia verniciati, leggeri piani in lamiera forata,
soffioni doccia dall’aspetto familiare, sistemi doccia con tende a strisce in PVC. Sono i componenti di
questa nuova famiglia di prodotti di matrice industriale, sia per i materiali d’elezione (lamiere, plastiche e
cementi) che per le fogge (tende a strisce, lamiere forate).
Interpretazione contemporanea di uno stile informale e chic che riflette scelte low tech, tese alla
leggerezza e semplicità di pensiero.
Oggetti amichevoli che, nella semplicità della funzione svelata, conferiscono all’ambiente in cui sono
inseriti una precisa identità: quella del riccio!

There is a word in Japanese - wabi - which expresses the idea of beauty in an understated form: “beauty
as hidden form, the quality of subtle refinement masked by rustic simplicity”. These words sum up the
aesthetic canon of this line of products, whose subtle neo-industrial atmospheres appear spartan but are
really sophisticatedly luxurious. Washbasins featuring ceramic enamels that bring back distant memories,
painted flush to floor shower-tray, light tops of pierced sheet-metal, shower heads with a familiar look,
shower systems with curtains in stripes PVC material. These are the components of this new family of
products which bears an industrial stamp both in the nature of its chosen materials (sheet metal, plastics
